binondo food trip (chinese new year edition)

the best way to celebrate chinese new year is to visit binondo and go food tripping..! i had a list of best restaurants to dine which i googled. sounds yummy but, it will be a great challenge because most restaurants are fully booked.  some already made early reservation in order to have sure seats. i was one of those people who played adventure. i did not fall in line, did not like the idea of waiting to be seated. what i did was resto hopping, hoped to find a place where no reservation is needed, where no people lining up for tummy fill.  i never thought it will be possible. but, it worked for me.

first stop was lunch at polland

Walked through the streets drinking autumn flavored zen tea

and had a snack at the tasty dumpling

   

i am on a diet so i didn’t pig out. i didn’t eat more than i can chew.

just had a taste of binondo foods which can’t be found on malls' food stalls.

i still keep the list of best restaurants and food to eat on my hand.

 i'll just go back to binondo  some other day. better on  weekdays so i can try them.

definitely less people..totally not crowded.
